Red Palm Weevil (Rhynchophorus Ferrugineus) Controlling Gel

ATTRACT – RPW is a highly effective pheromone-based gel formulation designed for the management of Red Palm Weevil (Rhynchophorus ferrugineus). It attracts adult weevils and helps in reducing their population, thereby minimizing damage to palm crops in an eco-friendly and targeted manner.

No traps are required for application.

Target Pests	Red Palm Weevil (Rhynchophorus ferrugineus)
Active Ingredient	4 Methyl 5 Nonanol, 4 Methyl 5 Nonanone
Recommended Crops	Coconut, Date Palm, Oil Palm and other palm species
Composition	Red palm weevil aggregation pheromone blend, attractant compounds, and other excipients
Dosage & Application	Open the pouche and mix thoroughly in a container Add 7–10 ml of approved insecticide (optional, e.g., Fipronil 5% SC) for enhanced control. Mix well to form a uniform gel formulation. Apply 1–2 g small dollops near trunk base, leaf axils, or damaged areas Use 1–2 dollops per palm tree
Time of Application	Preventive stage and early infestation stage
Repeat Application	Every 30–45 days or depending on infestation level
