Pink Bollworm (Pectinophora gossypiella) Mating Disruption Gel

ATTRACT – PBW is an eco-friendly pheromone-based mating disruption gel formulated for the effective management of Pink Bollworm (Pectinophora gossypiella) in cotton. The product disrupts the mating behavior of adult moths by saturating the crop environment with synthetic pheromone, thereby preventing successful mating and reducing subsequent larval infestations. It provides season-long protection while preserving beneficial insects and maintaining ecological balance.

Mode of Action Mating disruption through pheromone saturation, preventing males from locating females.
Composition Gossyplure pheromone and controlled-release gel matrix with inert carriers.
Dosage & Application Apply approximately 250 mg gel dollops on branch axils, about 15 cm (6 inches) below the crop canopy. Place 400–500 dollops per acre in a zig-zag pattern throughout the field.
Time of Application
  • 1st  application: 30–35 days after sowing.
  • 2nd  application: 60–65 days after sowing.
  • 3rd  application: 90–95 days after sowing.
  • 4th  application: Need-based at 120–125 days after sowing.
Apply on a dry day and allow 4–5 hours for the gel dollops to dry properly.
Repeat Application As per crop stage and pest pressure, following the recommended application schedule.
