Oriental Fruit Fly (Bactrocera dorsalis)
CONTROLING GEL

ATTRACT – OFL is a highly effective pheromone-based fruit fly control gel formulated to manage major fruit fly species in horticultural crops. It attracts and controls key fruit fly pests, reducing population build-up and crop damage in an eco-friendly and targeted manner.

No traps are required for application.

Active Ingredient Methyl eugenol.
Target Pests Oriental fruit fly (Bactrocera dorsalis), Peach fruit fly (B. zonata), Guava fruit fly (B. correcta), Carambola fruit fly (B. carambolae)
Recommended Crops Mango, Guava, Banana, Dragon Fruit, Custard Apple, Papaya and other fruit crops
Composition Methyl Eugenol, female attractant powder, and other attractant excipients
Dosage & Application
  • Open both pouches and mix thoroughly in a single container.
  • Add 7–10 ml of approved insecticide (e.g., Spinosad 45% SC or Fipronil 5% SC) for enhanced effectiveness.
  • Mix well to form a uniform gel paste.
  • Apply 1–2 g small dollops on the lower side of branches or stems.
  • Use 1–2 dollops per tree
Time of Application Before flowering stage and early fruit setting stage
Repeat Application Every 30–45 days or 5–7 weeks depending on infestation level
