ATTRACT – MFL is a highly effective pheromone-based gel formulation designed for the management of Melon Fruit Fly (Bactrocera cucurbitae). It attracts and controls adult fruit flies, helping to reduce
population build-up and minimize crop damage in an eco-friendly and targeted manner.

No traps are required for application.

Recommended Crops Cucumber, Bitter Gourd, Bottle Gourd, Ridge Gourd, Snake Gourd, Pumpkin, Watermelon, Muskmelon, Zucchini and other cucurbit crops
Composition Melon fruit fly attractant pheromone blend, female attractant compounds, and other attractant excipients
Dosage & Application
  • Open both pouches and mix thoroughly in a single container.
  • Add 7–10 ml of approved insecticide (e.g., Spinosad 45% SC or Fipronil 5% SC) for quick action.
  • Mix well to form a uniform gel formulation.
  • Apply 1–2 g small dollops on the lower side of leaves, branches, or stems.
  • Use 1–2 dollops per plant
Time of Application Early vegetative stage to flowering stage
Repeat Application Every 30–45 days or based on pest infestation level
